”This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly. Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds. The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location. You get a simple but thoughtfully...

”We had a wonderful stay at Studio Kohala Big Island Ocean View! The space was comfortable, peaceful, and offered beautiful views. Loved listening to the wind at night! The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and they even provided yogurt and fresh fruit for us in the morning, which was such a nice touch. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommend!”

”We had a very unfortunate incident with our rental car near the property and Erin and Elias were so incredibly kind and helpful. In addition to providing materials to help get us up and running, they also brought us apple bananas and sleepytime tea to calm our nerves. What a perfect example of the aloha spirit!The room was comfortable, the coffee was strong, and the water pressure in the shower was perfect! We even got to try a chili pepper from their garden!What could have been a near disaster...

”Excellent location. Room was different than expected with pictures shown. They are a mix of rooms. Once I figured out some things, all was amazing. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable.Great location for exploring the island. Walkable small beaches. Received a lot of different emails about the property and checking in. It made it confusing but figured it out. Its kind of like staying in a friend's guest room. Never really saw anyone.”

”The unit is adequate, but could be better. The kitchen was missing pots and knives, the fan and AC vents need to be cleaned. Owner sent wrong wifi info, but quickly corrected that by text after checkin. Other messages/questions weren't answered quickly. Noisy neighbors on the weekend. ”

”This is a great little place to stay. The ducks were so fun ti watch and while we didn't get to meet them, we coukd hear the goats. The view is incredible and the nights are dark and quiet”
