”The property owners were great and made sure our arrival was welcoming with great info and welcome pack. The property is a unique original cottage with hone comforts and incredible view. There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. As with anywhere in this area to get the most you have to prepared to be a bit active and there are a few steps required to get down to the cottage but definitely worthwhile. Beautiful location completely spoilt by the classic/abandoned cars in the front garden making it unsafe for children and dogs. Field next door is similarly blighted. ”Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again.”

”We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!”

”The house and cottage was perfect for our family reunion of 12 and 2 little ones. Bathroom and shower/tub in every room! Kitchen and Dining area and seating for 18 inside and out was perfect. Amazing kitchen with plenty of dishes and all possibly needed to cook large meals. Three sitting rooms with fireplace and wood provided Games, books, puzzles, game room, outside badminton and soccer. Best VRBO! Views amazing!”

”This was a great site and a wonderful location. It’s big and spacious yet only shared with 6 other spaces. Our kids could run around and we didn’t need to worry about them. The modern and warm showers were lovely and it was nice having flushing toilets. The tents and kitchens were brilliantly equipped. The Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley are fantastic and this site is brilliantly placed to explore both of them. The village has a wonderful little shop that’s a real gem too if you need any...
