I also kept my dog crated when we went anywhere ( she weighs 6 pounds) but when we returned from town I stepped in a big pile of fresh dog crap! We also had to keep shoes on children because apparently dogs that live around there use the parking area and around the deck for a potty. I picked up after my dog but it...

Sylva is a cute town, and we were able to go visit four waterfalls easily in a day, an hour’s drive. Asheville is also close. Highly recommend ”
