”This place offers very clean private secure property that makes you feel like your up in Michigan with the ease and access of the local shopping and food options and Lake Michigan beaches walking distance from the home.. oh and throw in a hot tub for relaxation .. this place offers everything you need if your staying in the area.”

”We really enjoyed our stay! Just a quick walk to the beach. Easy drives to the state and national parks. Very comfortable place and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and screened in porch every night”

”My family and I loved the space. There was ample room for the 9 of us. The only thing my family would suggest is that the area around the jacuzzi have better lighting for the nighttime and the ground was better paved. Other than that, the entire weekend was great.”

”This was a wonderful location. It wasn't a type of stay that I am familiar with, in that, there isn't really a lot of people to reach out to ask for assistance. But, all in all, I would definitely stay there again.”

”It was comfortable and felt like hotel/apartment living. Communication with Sonders was easy and see less. They where responsive when concerns and questions needed to be answered. They went above and beyond to help when needed. Only downside is when young adults/ kids caused the fire alarm to go off at 4 in the morning the day of my departure. Even that was handled well by the Sonders team. Highly recommend and would stay with them again. ”

”A great alternative to hotel rooms if you are looking for some space to hang out as a family. The building has been updated with modern mechanicals such as elevators and hvac. Everything worked well. My only complaint were the mattresses which are due for a change. Excellent communication from management. Friendly staff. Fantastic location.”

”This is a perfect location to walk around downtown, have dining options at walking distance. Everything was perfect for my family trip. The only issue is the noise its close to walgreens that gets deliveries at like 5am and the noise is so bad it wakes you up.”

”Our family of 4 stayed at the one bedroom apt. for 6 nights. The space is very spacious for 4 of us. King bed was very comfortable. Sofa bed was ok, cannot expect too much from a foldable sofa bed. Love the area with dining options and markets. Transportation is great, one block from train station and many local buses in the area. One little problem was the water pressure from shower was a little weak with leakage. Otherwise, we loved our stay. Very comfortable.”

”We had a great stay at the Funky Turtle. The house was clean and just enough space for my family of 5. The house is close to campground bathrooms if the occasional extra bathroom is needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, use of the grill, and sitting on the porch. Our only complaint is about the noise but it was clear from the map that the campground was located near an interstate. While sitting outside you can hear the noise from the interstate and close by trains. However, inside was much...

Absolutely brilliant

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
