”We had a wonderful week long stay at the Boathouse on Evans Lake. We had 18 people from ages 12 to 82. The owner, Bill, is great! He was very friendly and helpful. He had called me a couple days before our stay to tell me that we wouldn’t be able to bring our boats because there was an issue with the boat launch. ”Such a gem in the city. This is not a typical hotel which is great. It’s a quiet apartment building that is professionally maintained. The room is super clean and just full of character. Cannot be happier with this unique accommodation. Staff really responsive to questions. There could technically be better sound insulation especially in the bathroom area but totally not an issue. ”It was such a cute and fun getaway for myself and my daughter. She had a blast playing on the land and playground. The treehouse very cozy for the two of us. The port a potty was very clean and smelled good. I personally do not like camping and always need a bed to sleep in. This was perfect for what I needed. Samantha was very accommodating and were easily able to take showers. The tree house was really a unique experience. ”

”Wonderful whimsical weekend stay. We felt like we'd landed at Hagrids Hut, surrounded by the forbidden forest. 10 out of 10 highly recommend for somw off grid shenanigans. Beautiful marked trails to explore through old wood growth and marshlands with wildlife galore.”

”The owners and staff are terrific - very welcoming and caring. The cabin is cute and cozy. The river runs right in front of the cabin, with access to kayaks, etc. right there. Waterville is a very cute town with good eateries. I loved the Toledo Zoo which is nearby. Do be aware, however, if you are looking for an isolated cabin in the woods, this one is part of 12 cabins along the river, like a campground. It was quiet and everyone was great, but you will have neighbors. I loved my stay...
