”The property was as advertised. Though we only stayed one night, we enjoyed the peaceful evening and morning, and enjoyed taking the kayak/paddle board out on the lake.House was very clean and the owner was very responsive to our questions both before booking and during our stay.”

”What a gem! Such a charming and spacious apartment with a fantastic, unobstructed view of the water! Comfy bed, all ammeneties available, parking easy and convenient, and the bathroom has a fan. AC and heater units availabible throughout the apartment. Be sure to check out the bookstore downstairs! We will definitely return in the future! ”

”Check in was easy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked down to a lobster pot to our delight.The setting is beautiful and we very much enjoyed the two level deck. There is a bit of a hike to get to the river. All and all a very peaceful relaxing location. We had 9 adults and 4 children and were very comfortable.”

”The property was well-kept and a great base point for the area. The view of the water from the living room and kitchen was beautiful and the home was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! Minutes from Boothbay town center and the Botanical Gardens, it was in a great location too.”

”As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. ”

”This home is situated on a quiet street, but within a half-mile walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and puffin cruise piers. The house is comfortable and well-equipped, with several nice extras. The house was very clean when we arrived. The location is perfect, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the cove.”

”Perfect Maine waterfront cottage, cute and central for Mid Maine costal area attractions. Martin was prompt in answering any questions and Becky’s welcome touches complete with delicious blueberry muffins made us feel very comfortable.”

”Overall our stay was very enjoyable, the cabin was as advertised and came stocked with toiletries needed for our stay. Just a heads up for those wanting to explore boothbay harbor, parking can be challenging to find so I would recommend if you own E-bikes bringing them for easier transportation around the area. ”

”We had a family of 14 staying at the above site. All aspects of this location were amazing. There was enough room for us to have a great family time as well as the ability to get away if we needed to. The property was fantastic as it was right on the water and had kayaks and boats we could use. We were just minutes away from the walking bridge, which brought us into downtown Boothbay Harbor. The location was perfect as we were close to great restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and any...

The location of this property is excellent - the views are great and a walk from the house to Grime's Cove couldn't be more beautiful. The house was very clean and had every possible amenity I could think of, plus a lovely welcome gift left for us by the owner - thank you! ”
