”It was a very nice place to stay for our one night in Hana. This was our 2nd time on Maui and decided to make Hana a two day excursion. We did the back road to Hana again and beat all the traffic. Left our loud and crowded Kannapali hotel at 6AM and found ourselves soon driving in quiet Up Country and then onto volcanic desert like landscape when at times not even seeing another car for 30mins. "An older property that seems to have aged gracefully. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hallway, and I think this was a lifesaver. There’s no noise cancellation of any kind and had we been closer to the elevators, it would have been impossible for js (admittedly rough sleepers) to sleep. But as it was, we slept great, listening to the sounds of the waves. The beach is great (much much better than some more expensive resorts), and having sunbeds on the grassy yard was cozy. "
