”Mark and Amy literally thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen with quality pots/pans, dishes, drink ware, appliances, etc… even a supply of basic spices, and olive oil. Unit is VERY clean and well organized. Property is still being developed, but is already awesome with 2 great fire pits, a nice grill, 4 campsites with utilities. We will only stay here when visiting family in the area going forward.”

”The studio was very nice but did not realize it was a unit of 3, and that it was a base camp. The walls are very thin in the unit, could hear the neighbors talking and their tv. Quiet during the day. Host was very attentive to all our needs.”

”Great location and property for our group of 16, with kids ages 2 to 17. House was very clean and well maintained, with lots of seating both indoors and out. Our group had great luck with pike fishing, and the little ones really enjoyed the sand and playing in the water. The chain of lakes was nice to paddle boat and kayak on. Host was very responsive and pleasant. Great experience here, and would definitely come to this property again!”

”Had a quiet and relaxing stay. Explored nearby hiking trails and kayaked on the lake. It was nice to come home to this lakefront cozy cottage and just enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying the view with a glass of wine after a day of hiking.The kitchen was well equipped, everything I needed was there. The fireplace in the bedroom was nice. ”

”Fabulous place, recently renovated and super clean. Close to restaurants and shopping in a great little community. Easy drive to Grand Rapids. Will stay again if in the area!”

”The Purple Heart Trail Inn is nothing fancy (yes, I climbed those sturdy stairs many times,) but it was a very nice place to stay for a week. It is maybe 15 feet off the White Pine Trail, which is perfect for me.The unit was well-supplied, and the internet worked great..The owners were easy to reach and very friendly.”
