”What a fantastic place to stay , the cottage was perfect , very comfortable and felt just right .had everything we needed for our stay. Bed comfy and clean loved the way you slept downstairs and the views breathtaking. Lots of information and maps so perfect for us . No garden for four legged friend but walks just outside . We did keep our dog on lead due lambs and nesting birds . Fantastic pub 2 minute walk away . Will be going back without a doubt . Perfect for us .”

”Our stay was ok, however the central heating switched off every 15 minutes and tripped the consumer unit, i had to reset it many times to keep warm in such a lovely cottage, this spoilt it for us unfortunately. If the heating had stayed on we would rate this cottage very highly. We contacted the customer service office many times over the week but the problem was not resolved and nobody seemed to understand the issue, they just came in and reset the central heating switch in the consumer unit...

”We enjoyed our week at Heathlands cottage. It was very comfortable, had a well stocked roomy kitchen, a nice bathroom, comfy beds, plenty of parking and a fantastic view! There were maps and information for visitors. I would highly recommend a stay here.”

”The cottage is extremely well kitted out, with a top class tea room and small general store in the village, just 40 metres away. There's no garden but enough room to sit outside at the front and have an evening drink. We didn't try the pub but it's worth looking at the reviews for it 😊 Fantastic walking from the door, and if the weather is good you can even swim in the river across the fields.”
