”The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay.”

”We came for my son’s 17th birthday week and it was perfect!!!! A few friends and some family so we needed plenty of room which it had. I cooked a lot and the kitchen was adequately stocked with kitchen ware for every big meal. The view was breathtaking and amazing. The property was quiet and relaxing with fun wildlife wandering around. I give this property a 5 star for sure. However to be 100% honest the driveway was not great for our boat. We have a nearly 26’ Centurion with a triple axle...

”Perfect place for big group of 16. We have rented this place twice now and have had a great time both stays! Has everything for a big grout of guys or a few families. Everything is just nice enough to not worry about breaking something. Pool is too cold for October though. A heated pool would make the place even better. We will probably be back a some point.”
