”This house was a perfect location for a wedding we were attending. We could literally see the venue from the back deck. If you are attending an event at The View At Plum Creek, this is a great place to stay. The house was clean and well maintained. It was easy access to the main road to get back in to Mt Washington. The host was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had.”

”House was exactly what was described and pictured. great central location for bourbon tastings. beds were comfortable, towels and linens were clean and of a good quality. body wash, shampoo and conditioner were supplied. very responsive communication when there was an issue with the front gate code. parking a second car at the property was a bit tricky but we managed it. Some repairs are clearly needed but overall, the house is in good shape.”

”The hall was sweltering and looked sketchy. The beds were not comfortable. I could have booked directly through Motel 6 for much less. Not a stellar experience. Thankfully it was just a halfway point overnight.”

”The home is unique but very nice. Everything you need and more is there to make your stay memorable; even bug spray for sitting on the porch at night in the rocking chair. Although off a main road it is tucked back and very private and quiet. Host offered great places to eat at and visit.”

”Our room was very clean and our host thought of everything. There was everything from snacks to tooth brushes and Q-tips. We sat out on the porch and watched people next door in a small park that the city had made for them The area was fairly quiet. The room is a block away from several different eating options.”

”Captain's Cabin was the perfect place to stay for our three day Burbon Trail experience. The location is central and the cabin is very well equipped. It is also decorated with historical period pieces that take you back in time. The back porch is nice for an evening of playing cards and enjoying a bottle of wine. Tammy and Jan were most wonderful hosts. Tammy makes a delicious breakfast to begin your day too! I have already shared this spot with my family and friends for their future rentals.”
