”This was our third year returning to Trudy’s place and it was throughly enjoyed as usual. Very cute and cosy place with everything you need. Has had multiple upgrades since our first year which is great to see as well.”

”Perfect location for us coming from Te Awamutu for a quick one nighter at the beach. Stayed on matariki and how winderful because the stars were very visable. As a dog friendly property we took our small doggo and he went nuts on the beach. We enjoyed it so much, thank you and we want to make a regular thing of it. ”

”A nicely renovated home with many quality creature comforts provided. There's been a lot of thought put into helping guests enjoy their stay. It's conveniently located, close to everything but in a quiet cul de sac. To boot, Host Kara is extremely lovely. Something malfunctioned and she responded so quickly to resolve the issue and make sure we were still comfortable. Thanks so much Kara. Ps the home is even nicer in person than in the pictures”

”Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. Definitely want to come back and enjoy the place more fully, including the hot tub!Sienna was fantastic to deal with.Many thanks .”

”The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property ”

”We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️”

”Absolutely loved our stay - lovely clean unit and stunning gardens. Unfortunately no opportunity to visit the beach on this visit but could occasionally hear the surf. Highly recommend”

”Really nice spot in nature, clean and tidy house. David was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions.One thing would be another rental nearby so not completely secluded but we barely saw them so not a real issue at all!”

”We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. ”
