We really appreciated their suggestions of hikes and places to visit. We actually had our trip planned out before, but changed it due to their suggestions. We had NO regrets. ”Property was very clean and nicely decorated. There isn’t really a living room to hang out. Very difficult for 3 adults to all hang out together. When I booked I was more concerned about the sleeping area so I assumed there was a living room. The guest suite is in the basement of home in a nice neighborhood.”

”Celebrated my son’s HS graduation with my father-in-law along for the adventure, Joe’s townhouse is super convenient to Thayer Gate and eating establishments along Main St. Grill worked well and the beds made for sound slumber. For mixed company an extra half bath might be desired, but 3 guys who know each other well managed just fine. The basement washer & dryer are top of line.”

”This place is just like the pictures. Very clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. The view is fantastic! The linens are hotel-like and the kitchen is very nicely stocked. We stayed two nights and walked around the lake, made for a great stay. Definitely recommend. ”

”The proximity to Westpoint was great. Trashy neighborhood. Very loud construction early in the morning. The cooking supplies were limited and one of the handles on the pans fell off while we were there. It was okay, but probably wouldn't return.”

”The host was very accommodating. Check in and check out process was very smooth. The home is beautiful, cozy and filled with many household items and games! The rooms were comfortable and spacious! Love the outdoor set up in the back and the front! We will certainly be visiting again and there is no other place we would want to stay! ”

It's so new that a few basics were missing (all no big deal but would be helpful), such as more towel hooks/bars in the bathrooms and facial tissue and shampoo in each bathroom. Area rugs would help both bare feet and acoustics. All small stuff; overall, it's a stunning, super-clean place in the perfect location for our time at the CIA in Hyde Park. John (owner) was kind and patient with requests and questions. ”

Clean and neat

"+ The place was clean and neat. Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were nice. Coffee bar service in the lobby was helpful. - The decor needs some updating. The rooms feel a bit dark. Would recommend cardboard plates for breakfast if the budget does not allow for real plates and utencils. Plastic (styrofoam) plates are not eco friendly and just gives a cheap feel. Fruits and vegetables for the breakfast menu would be appreciated. "
