”Lake breezes and unbeatable views! Comfortable, beachy, well equipped cabin right on the lake--great family (and Pet) get away! Not far from Plattsburgh, Ausable Chasm, and a Ferry ride to Burlington. The only thing that may be an issue for some is the stairs to and from the cabin! Not for the faint of heart! ”We booked this rental to get away from our busy lives and relax and this was perfect for us. The balcony is where we spent hours and hours just watching the sun set, reading books, drinking coffee and wine. The location was perfect for us because our only agenda was to relax. We did find a fantastic winery, a few towns to explore, and a sandy beach (dune) that we had all to ourselves to celebrate our anniversary. Also I’m not too proud to say the couches provided the perfect naps, pure heaven. ”

”Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we checked in, we knew it was going to be a quiet and relaxing long weekend. House was clean and very comfortable. The view was amazing especially at sunrise. We had one minor hiccup. We accidentally set off the smoke dectors and couldn't shut them off. Called Josie and she was over to help us out immediately. We were sad to leave but if our lives ever take us back to Alburgh, VT we will definitely rent this beautiful house again.”

”I drove up to the Burlington area (from Frederick MD) for a 3-day reunion of a group of us who had served as Peace Corps Volunteers or staff 30 years ago in Morocco from 1991-1993. Staying in your lake front cabin was wonderful. Very relaxing mornings. Also thank you for being pet friendly - that was a criteria for me. My 4-month old puppy loved all the yards, and the freedom (under my supervision) of your lovel space. Thank you - this house right on the water was more than I had...

”Really enjoyed the stay here, very close to Burlington and a great lake escape. The beach is much bigger and nicer than expected, and use of paddleboards and kayak made for a really fun place to stay. Plenty of space, clean, and tons of outdoor areas to relax in. Recommend! ”

”This is a wonderful place with a gracious host. The large stone fireplace was appreciated on a couple of cold evenings. The sun porch with storm windows was one of our favorite places to read, chat, play games, and view the ever changing lake, sky, and trees. The kitchen is well equipped and also has beautiful views of the lake. All windows open to allow fresh air on warmer days. ”Five stars plus. This is a clean, comfortable, and modern house located on Mallet Bay. It is an easy 15-minute drive to downtown Burlington. There is direct access to a small beach, and the owner supplied all the beach accessories. The waters of the bay ripple to the beach and are not very deep along the shore line. This was perfect for our young grandchildren. The room sizes are large, and the beds are comfortable. The 5 year old enjoyed sleeping on the bunk bed above his parents’ bed....

”We had a wonderful time. The cottage was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was ideal. The cottage has everything you need - washer/dryer, fridge, stove, microwave, TV and WiFi. The sunsets over the lake were beautiful. ”
