We also had a chance to explore the area and took some great hikes (Hart Nature Preserve and Mt. Arab) and even took a day trip over to see Singer Castle! ”This is a very nice property with more positives than negatives.I'll put the negatives first: No curtains on windows other than in the bedrooms/bathroom. This one seems kind of odd, but there is no way to cover the windows in the kitchen, dining room, or living room (which faces the lake). This combined with slightly close neighbors means that the lights they leave on or conversations can be seen and heard. I could not get the side door to lock. The only other part that can be considered a...

”While only at this cabin for 2 nights, we had a glorious time playing in the water, listening to the river, and skywatching over a campfire! The attention to detail in the decor, supplies, and directions was perfect! The outdoor decks were laid out in a manner to provide fantastic views of the river and offer shade if needed. Great time!- only piece of advice, if you are coming when it's hot outside, bring a fan or two.”

”We really loved the setting of the cabin. Boyd Pond is beautiful! We loved seeing critters outside, like geese and loons on the water. We made breakfasts in the kitchen and spent a lot of time looking out over the water both from the table and sitting on the deck. It was nice to watch TV at night and have a space of our own. ”
