”Great little cabin on a pretty, quiet pond. My son loved fishing in their rowboat. I loved reading on the porch. It was clean and well taken care of. It’s in a remote area so we brought food and laid low while we were there. Loved hearing the loons and watching the sunset. We had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you! ”

”The hosts were so fun and friendly, and the apartment is very cute. since it’s above a bar we always had food or drinks nearby! It’s a gorgeous area. Lovely creek next to the building with kayaks. So glad we stayed here instead of a cabin.”

”The kitchen was very well stocked. Plenty of pots and pans and even an electric griddle for making pancakes. The refrigerator in the boat house saves lots of trips when you want to spend the day fishing on the dock. The foosball table was a delight for the grandkids (even though Grandpa was still able to beat them)! ”

Camp Hemlock was condusive for relaxing and enjoying the private and the quiet surroundings. Boyd pond is the perfect size for kayaking and fishing with the family. Overall this is the best location we have stayed in the ADK area. ”

”Wonderful camp on Star Lake. The camp/house has plenty of room and all the amenities that you will ever need. The decor is perfect. The grandkids had a blast playing on the sandbar and exploring the lake on the kayaks. The hosts were super and responded to my inquire immediately. An incredible, unforgettable family vacation with our kids, grandkids and sister from Florida!! Thank you! ”

”Absolutely wonderful! The cabin is spacious yet cozy, clean and welcoming. We absolutely loved the screened porch and spent every evening chatting and playing games out there. We went kayaking on the lake, grilled out, played outdoor games, sat by the fire with complete privacy. This property is nestled in by the trees and the lake. Jane was an absolute fantastic host. From booking in February right through our trip, she was friendly, accommodating and answered any questions I had immediately....

”There’s places for swimming, fishing ,kayaking and a boat launch for small watercraft with trailer. The pond is huge and the surrounding areas are beautiful to kayak, boat or sail on! There is a good size deck to sit on over the water. So quiet and peaceful.Inside there is a large screened in porch great to sit on and take in the water views. Ample room and spaces to gather for games and meals. There is a nice equipped kitchen to prep and cook in. The host is easily accessible and responsive. We...
