”We loved our stay at the Carriage House. Patrick and Kathryn were wonderful hosts. They provided information in a timely manner, and were quick to respond to any questions. Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and Patrick and Kathryn included truly thoughtful touches. The location was perfect for exploring Croton-on-Hudson and the Hudson Valley. We'd love to come back!”

”The property was lovely. There were extra towels and very well stocked kitchen supplies. My only complaint was the overwhelming odor after someone used the fireplace. I wish there was something to neutralize the smokey odor. Also it would be nice to have a tv in the bedrooms. At least a tv in the master bedroom. I would stay here again. ”

”We saw a bevy of wikdlife. Toads, chipmunks and babies, a wild turkey, woodchuck or beaver, and deer. The views were great and the kitchen was actually quite accommodating. Book it today!”

”We were very happy with the accommodations. The cottage was neat, clean and well kept, as was the property. All the amenities were as described. We had a great weekend and would highly recommend this lake house.”

”We loved everything about this cozy cottage! It felt like home when we walked in. Place was very clean, quiet and beautiful. We stayed 3 nights, but wish we could've stayed longer. Nadia was very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our arrival. We appreciate the extra touches and snacks...it was very warm and welcoming. I would love to come back...highly recommend!”

”A delightful place. Having the lake to ourselves with magnificent views plus a property that has plenty to keep everyone active--including the very active 4 year old in our group--was amazing. Do note that the downstairs bathroom has narrow doors so mobility impaired people may not be able to access it without assistance. ”

”We had a wonderful stay! The house was well appointed, clean, and had everything we needed. The views were absolutely stunning and made for a relaxing, scenic getaway. Instructions for check-in and check-out were clear and easy to follow. Overall, it was the perfect spot for our trip — highly recommend!”

”I cant say much because i only stayed 1 night but i will say it was exactly what i needed. The place is very cute, rustic but modern. The neighborhood was very quiet. I wish i could have stayed longer and if im ever in the area i would stay there again.”

”The proximity to Westpoint was great. Trashy neighborhood. Very loud construction early in the morning. The cooking supplies were limited and one of the handles on the pans fell off while we were there. It was okay, but probably wouldn't return.”

”We were not able to stay at the property but Katherine, the host, was very nice and responsive when we called for help. The email Vrbo sent with the directions to the property were not correct. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. It was a cold and rainy evening. We were giving up when Katherine contacted us and helped direct us to...

”Excellent facilities at this great property. Really good outdoor deck, good sized bedrooms, huge tv next to the table football in the basement, really good kitchen facilities. The host Raymond was very helpful, and Uber happy to bring you home if need be.”

”We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.”

”The host was very accommodating. Check in and check out process was very smooth. The home is beautiful, cozy and filled with many household items and games! The rooms were comfortable and spacious! Love the outdoor set up in the back and the front! We will certainly be visiting again and there is no other place we would want to stay! ”

Clean and neat

"+ The place was clean and neat. Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bathrooms were nice. Coffee bar service in the lobby was helpful. - The decor needs some updating. The rooms feel a bit dark. Would recommend cardboard plates for breakfast if the budget does not allow for real plates and utencils. Plastic (styrofoam) plates are not eco friendly and just gives a cheap feel. Fruits and vegetables for the breakfast menu would be appreciated. "
