”My cousins and I very much enjoyed our 2nd stay at the Matteson’s rental cabin. It’s the perfect home base for a trip to Old Forge. It has everything you need - comfy beds, a nice bathroom with shower, kitchen with fridge, microwave, and regular coffee maker, and a fire pit. We were grateful for the air conditioning too. Bridget is a kind and responsive host. We hope to come back ASAP! :)”

”Get place to stay! We were able to check in early which was great. The place was clean and the bedroom were very spacious. It had direct access to the ATV trails for Oswego, Jefferson, & Lewis County. If we are ever in that side of the Hill we would definitely book again. Thanks!”

”This property was amazing . From the minute we pulled in we were in aww. The pond was bigger than we thought . The cabin was very nice , clean and ready for us, Ed even started our fire for us ! All weekend we fished in warm , then cold rainy conditions , Ed and his wife even offered to take us on a guided kayak trip! We saw bald eagles, herons and ducks . Great weekend out away from everything , we will def be back !”

”We were initially hesitant as the property had no reviews but that's only because Pat is just starting to rent it out, so definitely don't let that stop you. In fact, book now before the word on this hidden gem gets out. The house is immaculate and modern but designed with a lodge feel and many cute details throughout.
