”Really nice spot and I thought it was a solid value. We saw some other, incredible houses on Canandaigua lake we wanted to book, everything looked perfect but when we saw the total price at check out, we said no way; way overpriced. But we found THIS place had it all: Enough room, nice interior, great view, nice outdoor space with a dock to park a boat, AND a fair price! Therefore, we will save this spot to check first for another rental.”

”Great house for our annual "Jane Austen Weekend". Three generations of family women, totaling 16, had a great time cooking, eating, chatting and watching Jane Austen movies. Beautiful views of the sunset and lake, with easy access to the shore and a comfortable deck overlooking the lake. ”This is an unbelievable house to stay in! I actually wish we had more time to simply be in the house. It was beautiful and lots of fun things to do! We were visiting Skaneateles for my son's wedding, and it was a perfect location to everything we needed. Susan was a fantastic host too!”

”Our group of three couples enjoyed our stay very much. The spaciousness of the kitchen-dining and the living rooms are especially pleasant - full of windows, light, and view. Our only suggestion is to be very specific in your listing about the number and steepness of the stairs down to the beach and fire pit. One of our party temporarily has reduced mobility and felt the stairs were too challenging. ”

”Came here for a week long getaway and could not be happier with the stay overall. The only two things that were mild inconveniences was that the thermostat on the hot tub seemed to be inaccurate making the hot tub hotter than it said it was and the mattresses on the beds were a little firmer than we liked. Other than that it was great and there was plenty to do at the house for rainy days when we didn't feel like doing much. I would definitely stay again!”
