I spent a long time deciding as I needed something close to the British Library but also near the Piccadilly Line for the Science Museum. I chose this over others, despite being a little more expensive, because of the comparatively positive reviews of cleanliness and safety - as I was travelling on my own with two small children this was a priority. I chose a room with an ensuite bathroom for this reason.
The room was very clean, traditionally furnished, and usefully contained towels, soap, shower gel and three glasses. My kids were delighted there was a tv. It felt safe and it was quiet at night. Wi-fi worked well and there were useful tips on what to do in the area - we had a look round the nearby Brunswick Centre as a result. Check-out was straight forward and I was able to leave my back-pack till later. Ir would have been nice to get a kettle for a tea in the morning but I’m assuming that doesn’t fit with the permaculture principles. I would definitely stay there again if I needed that location.
