Our contemporary one-bedroom apartment sits right by Kew Bridge in west London, with air conditioning throughout, ultra-fast fibre WiFi, and a private parking space included at no extra cost. Guests also have full use of the building's rooftop terrace, cinema room, gym, yoga studio and residents' workspace.

THE APARTMENT

The bedroom has a king-size bed and blackout blinds, which make a real difference for anyone arriving on a late flight or working across time zones. The living area is separate from the bedroom, with a smart TV and Netflix.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking properly rather than just reheating: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle and coffee machine. There's a washing machine and dryer in the apartment, so you can pack light for a longer stay.

Air conditioning is genuinely rare in London apartments and something guests tell us they appreciate through the summer. Central heating keeps things comfortable in winter.

BUILDING FACILITIES

The rooftop terrace has far-reaching views across west London and is a lovely spot on a warm evening.

The private cinema room is a dedicated screening room, complimentary to use. It does need booking in advance, so just let us know your dates and we'll reserve a slot for you.

The gym is fully equipped and available throughout your stay at no extra charge, and there's a separate yoga studio for stretching and floor work, bookable in advance.

The residents' workspace is a quiet alternative to working from the apartment, free to use with no booking required.

PARKING AND ARRIVAL

Your own allocated parking space is included, with no permits to arrange or meters to feed. Parking is scarce and expensive across most of London, so this is worth knowing if you're driving or hiring a car.

Check-in is self-service via keypad from 3pm, with no handover to coordinate. Convenient if you're arriving late from Heathrow.

THE AREA

The Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are directly across the bridge, and easily worth a full day. Syon House and Park, Osterley Park and Chiswick House and Gardens are all within easy reach.

Closer to home, the London Museum of Water & Steam occupies the Victorian pumping station beside Kew Bridge, and the waterside at Brentford Lock, where the Grand Union Canal meets the Thames, has a growing collection of independent restaurants, cafés and bars. The Thames towpath runs right through, with riverside walks towards Richmond and Chiswick.

Chiswick High Road, a short hop away, is one of west London's best stretches for restaurants and bars, and the Gtech Community Stadium is walkable for Brentford FC matchdays.

GETTING AROUND

Kew Bridge station is a short walk, with direct trains to London Waterloo in around 30 minutes. Gunnersbury and Kew Gardens stations put you on the District line and London Overground for Victoria, Earl's Court and the West End.

Heathrow is roughly 20 minutes by car via the M4, or on the Piccadilly line from Boston Manor, which serves all terminals. The A4 and M4 are immediately accessible for driving, and frequent buses run along Kew Bridge Road and Chiswick High Road, including a 24-hour night service.
