Hyvä sijainti, hieno hotelli
Hotelli oli siisti ja aamupala mainio. Todella hyvä sijainti. Ainut miinus oli, kun useampaan kertaan meille sanottiin, että aamiainen ei sisälly huoneen hintaan ja sitä jouduimme veivaamaan monta kertaa, vaikka olimme maksaneet sen ja se sisältyi.

Hyvä sijainti Victoria Stationin vieressä, josta helppo kulkea eripuolille Lontoota. Huoneissa hyvä äänieristys, eikä ulkoa juuri kuulunut mitään, vaikka huone sijaitsi ykköskerroksessa ja rakennustöitä naapurissa. Huoneet ei mitään järin isoja, mutta perhehuone kolmelle ( 2 aikuista+1 teini) ihan ok kolmen yön oleiluun. Lisävuode ei mikään paras mahdollinen, mutta menetteli. Aamupala ja palvelut ihan ok tasoa.

Hotelli on moderni ja siisti. Huone oli pieni mutta muuten kaikin puolin moitteeton. Sijainti on erinomainen, Victoria Station vieressä. Esim. Express juna Gatwik lähtee vierestä. Aamiainen oli Hyvä+!

Nice hotel with great connections
The best thing about the hotel is its location right next to Victoria station. You have your connection to all over London just a stone throw away from the hotels front entrance. Standard rooms are quite small but has all the neccecities you need if yuo´re not planning to spend most of your time in the room. Hotel staff was very polite and helpfull. Hotel restaurant serves a traditional English breakfast buffet with some fresh fruits and veggies. Breakfast is decent but dont waste your money for dinner in the hotels restaurant. You can find actual food that is cheaper and tasty nearby.

The team was great - the concierge team in particular. The room was a good size and up to date. The location is next to Victoria Station so can be loud (as expected), but so very convenient. Restaurants and shopping nearby as well.

We had no air conditioning. The front desk said we needed to change rooms. After (we) moved all of our luggage to a new room, our second room also had no AC. The next day, we learned (from a maintenance man in the hallway) that the AC had gone down for the entire hotel. The front desk staff would not admit the problem or make any adjustments for our inconvenience. The hotel also seems to have IT issues. On checkout, they could not print a summary of our charges. They had to go to the dining room and individually print receipts for each day. Overall, I would say this property is not up to Doubletree standards.

Chose a family room to stay in room was 28c I was told they couldn’t move us to a new room. Offered a fan instead, no soap or conditioner in room. Following day still didn’t have any room available even though people were checking in/out. Moved to a different hotel same chain. Better room, better rate phenomenal service. Stay away from this hotel.

When we first entered the front desk was under construction with no direction as to how to complete check in. Wandered to the front desk and waited, someone finally came out from a back office. The air conditioner in our room didn’t work, when we asked them to look at it, it was clear two maintenance men went into our room but did not fix it or give any answers as to why they did not fix it. The thermostat was sent to 33C (91F). No matter how many times we lowered the temp, it did not cool down and just reset itself back to 33c. We basically slept in a sauna for two days.

Nice Hotel with restaurant. Nice staff. Across the street from Victoria Train Station with fast food and 1 or 2 restaurants. Lots of other restaurants just blocks away. Walk to Buckingham Palace. Take the train to Windsor Castle. Great location - taxi’s close by.

My room was right by the train tracks and was a filthy mess! So many stains on the wall, tea kettle, sink faucet and floor. The bed had hair and stains on it. I wouldn’t be surprised if house keeping never changed the bedding from the last guest! There was someone else’s food STILL in the fridge! Five minutes after I got to the room, the receptionist called to ask me was I OK with the room. When I explained to her, I didn’t know I was going to be next to the train tracks and that its a lot of noise outside PLUS the room didn’t seem very clean. The receptionist said she would speak to her manager. She called back two minutes later saying they have no control of the trains and that it typically stops running around 9 PM. What was the point of her asking how I feel about the room if she’s not gonna give any solutions!? The manager could’ve easily asked if I wanted to change rooms further away from the train tracks. But she didn’t because they truly don’t care and it’s just their policy to ask. The next day I woke up with an insect on my pillow right by my head! I left for the day for 10 hours and when I came back, my room wasn’t cleaned. I had to go downstairs and let the receptionist know that no one cleaned my room and I needed fresh towels. The day before check out, I got a call from the receptionist asking how my stay was. I didn’t even waste my time explaining it because I know they weren’t going to do anything about it. I just decided to make my notes to post online.

Overordnet fint hotel med god beliggenhed. Superlækker morgenmad og fine faciliteter. Havde et værelse til 3, fungerede men ikke meget plads. Derudover værelse på 1. sal som vendte mod Victoria Station - det gav meget støj fra togene. Og det er generelt det, som trækker ned - men svært både med central beliggenhed og lidt støj, når vi nu er i en storby :-)

Poor cleanliness - Chewing gum on the bath towel. Poor maintenance in the room - no sound on TV channels, only radio & missing fixings in the shower. Poor maintenance in the fitness centre - two treadmills (one broken) & blank screen on cross trainer (hard to tell if working or not). Noisy - room 626 is next to double doors (that don’t close properly & bang together) & next to lifts. Outside bins were being emptied 2am to 4am - appreciate that’s out of the hotels control but doesn’t make for a restful stay & wonder if the hotel could put you in another part of the hotel

Excellent London place to stay
We were on a short break to London and stayed atvthis amazing hotel. It is right beside Victoria train station with access to all of London. The staff were extremely friendly and helfull. The rooms were excellent with terrific rain showers. The bed was very comfortable. We booked breakfast and were not dissapointed the choices and standards of food was excellent. We will definitely stay here again when visiting London. Thanks to the staff for avgreat weekend.

Great Hotel in a good location
Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Great Location close to Train from Gatwick and Tube to get around London during our stay. Rooms were comfortable. Not huge but adequate.. Nice breakfast and very friendly helpful staff despite how busy it was

We were there for a funeral of a family member. At 9am construction crew started using jackhammers to break up concrete directly outside my first floor window. It was so incredibly loud that we had to get ready early and leave. When I talked to the front desk I was quite rudely told that they are allowed to do construction within certain hours of the day. My point really was that we were NOT informed or warned that this was the case when we booked the hotel OR when we checked in. This is unacceptable as far as I’m concerned for a Hilton and for the price I paid to stay in this hotel. When I pushed further the front desk continued to be unhelpful. I have a video of the noise and it shows the proximity of the construction to the hotel room window….DIRECTLY outside the window. I plan to persue this further and am thoroughly disappointed with the stay at this hotel and with the way the staff handled my complaint. As stated, I was there for a funeral with my elderly and handicapped mother and we couldn’t even stay in the room to get ready for the funeral before our check out time because the noise level was so uncomfortable. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone and feel strongly about the price I paid to stay for this kind of negative experience.
