The "breakfast" was a joke, a paper bag which might have been acceptable during the worst covid time but now only seemed cheap.

The area is really, really nice. Kensington Gardens is just there and it's easy to take The bus to Regent Street. The hotel is very cosy and The interior is stylish and nice. But there is a serious lack of sound proofness. Our room was in The basement floor and right next to it there was a toilet and a nousy hand drier. You could also hear all the steps from upstairs and talking from the others rooms.. I slept really poorly.

Majoituimme New Lindenissä 6/2019. Olimme varanneet 2 standard double - huonetta. Huoneemme olivat 4. kerroksessa. Toinen huoneista oli pienehkö (sänky lähes seinissä kiinni) ja toisessa oli hiukan enemmän liikkumatilaa. Huoneista löytyi kuitenkin kaikki tarpeellinen ja ne olivat siistejä. Hotelli on sokkeloinen ja käytävät ovat kapeat. Hotelli on kauniilla rauhallisella alueella, lähellä metroasemaa ja bussipysäkkiä. Hotellin naapurissa kiva pubi ja pieni kauppa. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä.

Todella mukava ja siisti hotelli
Iso plussa Handy-älypuhelimesta, jonka 4G-netillä pääsi navigoimaan paikasta toiseen Lontoossa. Huone oli siisti ja aamupala perushyvä ja Varna mannermainen aamiainen. Aamipalan parhaitya oli herkullinen hedelmäsalaatti tuoreista hedelmistä sekä croissantit, juustot ja paahtoleivät.

Hyvä sijainti, muutama sata metriä metrolle ja rauhallinen alue. Kensington Parkin kaunis puisto lähellä. Henkilökunta ystävällinen ja palveluhalukas. Pieni huone (standard twin) jossa ei ollut ilmastointia. Huone oli tuskallisen kuuma lämpimänä päivänä. Saimme irrallisen ilmastointilaitteen, ja ikkunaan kapulan väliin jotta sitä pystyi pitämään hiukan auki yölläkin. En suosittele ylempiä huoneita helteellä, kellarihuoneet olisivat luultavasti olleet viileämmät. Ensimmäisen kerroksen huoneessa oli pieni parveke, mikä oli mukava lisä. Suihku oli hyvin pieni ja katseli koko vessan. Matkatavarat mahtui vaan juuri ja juuri levittämään lattialle. Sängyt olivat ok normaalikokoiselle, mutta hiukan isommalle ihmiselle epämukavat. Mannermainen aamupala oli hiukan pettymys; makkaraleikettä ja keitettyjä kananmunia, vaaleaa leipää ja jogurttia. Vaatimaton mutta kattoi perustarpeet. Wifi toimi hyvin huoneessa. Muuten hotelli on viihtyisä ja alue viehättävä. Lontoolais- ja hintatasoon nähden hyvä valinta.

Kiva pikkuhotelli
Hotelli ja huone oli siisti ja palvelu ystävällistä. Sijanti lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä bussipysäkeiltä ja maanalaiselta. Aamupala tarjoiltiin seisovasta pöydästä, ei siis perinteinen englantilainen aamupala. Huonona puolena se, ettei hotellilla ollut omaa ravintolaa.

I was pleasantly surprised by the New Linden. Location is pretty great 8min walk to Bayswater or Notting Hill on the circle line and about 30 min to most attractions. I was disappointed to find the shower was not draining and the light over it was out but they fixed both within 2 days. Daily maid service. Odd and quaint that you leave your key in a basket when you leave. Once they let me take the wrong key before I realized the mistake - use your hotel safe! Bag storage means leaving your bag in the lobby for anyone to grab but thankfully no issues. I'd bring a locking cable if I stayed again. Overall the hotel is in good shape and the only other concern would be lack of AC in the summer. We stayed in a family suite with 3 beds and worked out well but the steps to the main bedroom can be dangerous at night. The neighborhood was amazingly quiet and safe. Pubs within 8 minutes in either direction and a Sainsbury small grocery 3 min away. Hotel breakfast of hard boiled eggs, cereals, 2 kinds of yogurt, croissant, tea/coffee was underwhelming - Sainsbury has better food (salmon lox, fresh fruit, hot pain au chocolate, hot cocoa) for a lower price and open 30 min earlier.

Clean and quiet — about ten minutes walk from Bayswater tube. A bit surprised to be asked for photo ID when we arrived… don’t normally take passport on trips to London. Area around the hotel has seen better days, but so has most of London. £88 for a Saturday night basement twin.

Het ontbijt was echt heel slecht. In een kelder zonder zuurstof. Een geroosterde boterham of croissant en kaas, worst of jam. Echt onder de maat. Koffie is een bak slootwater. Alles was verouderd en half gammel. Verwacht ook geen uitzicht vanaf de kamer.

Good location and friendly staff. We were given a basement room which was ok for an overnight stay, although I’m sure there are better rooms. I would stay here again.

Great value for money
For a budget hotel it was very clean, ad the bathroom was decent. Yes there were odd signs of wear and tear but generally very good. The guy on reception last night when I checked in very late in the evening was very polite, friendly and helpful. Will be staying again, great value for money

It's... Fine.
It's... fine. That's about it. The location is the biggest perk here as you're nestled in the heart of Notting Hill with three tube stops within a quick walk. Other than that, our room was on the first level, which was basically 10 feet from the front desk... kind of odd. The breakfast was lackluster and not good. Shower was tiny. Bed was comfortable enough and price was reasonable. That's about it.

Not bad, not great.
This hotel was very average. It was a little far away from the tourist sights but close to restaurants. Location was not terrible but not great either; however, a nice place for how expensive hotels are in London. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful. We had three people in our room, the room is way too small for that but should be fine for up to two people. We were there when the weather was very warm, this hotel does not have any air conditioning and the room was so hot, we were miserable. I would never stay here during the summer months. It had a large window, which you could only open a couple inches (they said for safety reasons), so there was not any air flow. Besides the air conditioning, my other big complaint is that there was no electrical outlets in the bathroom. This is crazy to me as we wanted to use flat irons and curling irons and had to figure out how to use them in the room. I will say that the hotel was clean and quiet, so if air conditioning and outlets are not a concern for you, it is a decent, clean place to stay.

Overall location of the property was fantastic. A few cleanliness issues, stains on the fitted sheet, no shower curtain etc. Size of room was awesome and felt like a really safe neighborhood, very walkable. Staff was not the friendliest.
