”Cool room and great restaurants in hotel. Nice outdoor area. Gym is used for PT sessions at the busiest times so not ideal for hotel guests to use. The sockets in the room and some of the fixings in need of repair and tired. Bed too firm and the room was too dark overall”

”Food was good and homemade. But rooms need much investment. Mattress you could feel the springs. Pillows lumpy. Kettle lid broken. Shelf in bathroom broken. Blind broken. Tv had electrical fault and kept coming on during the night. ”

”Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Were using the accessible room which was very spacious for a wheelchair user. Bonus breakfast with cereals and toast tea coffee and orange juice. Ample parking convenient for M1 and our 1 night stopover.”

They let us check in even though we were slightly early and they changed the room to a ground floor one so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. The room was perfect. Clean, spacious and welcoming. ”Typical 500 years old UK hotel building with confusing hallways, pretty hot in the summer time since no ac. Bathroom was renovated. Breakfast was ok.”
