”Duty smell bad”

”The room was very quiet and clean.”

”The room was nice and the breakfast, great. The only problem was that the pool was closed, and we had seen no announcement or indication that that was going to be the case. Since we travel with kids, the pool makes an enormous difference when we pick somewhere to stay. We paid a higher nightly price overall because we saw that this hotel had a pool. In other words, we paid for a service that we did not receive.”

”Our shower had a crack in it, it was covered but the tape was coming off. The crack was soft around it. If you accidentally stepped by it, you got a sinking feeling. It has to be something that isn’t safe.”

”Room was clean, comfortable, small. The continenal breakfast might have been OK, but on Sunday I it just wasn't. We had you come back to check in: No staff just like Sunday morning but she did return at 7 pm. Buildings look neglected but the room was cleaned and comfortable but there was no climate control to be found.”

”This is overall a great place to spend the night. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The continental breakfast had a good variety of items. The room was very clean and had plenty of space. The only takeaway was the air conditioner didn't work very well. I woke up a few times in the middle of the night and the room was very humid. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.”

”Power went out at 9 PM and was still not back on at 8 AM when we left. Room had no emergency lighting and by morning the hall and stair lighting had failed, leaving the stairs dark very dangerous. No breakfast due to no power. Couldn't raise the shades to let in morning light because they are powered by electricity. No luggage cart upon check in. A backup generator should be added. ”

”Check in was the only okay part of this stay. The lady at the front desk was nice. Besides that, a terrible stay (both rooms): Rusted stairs outside, loud rooms, wood on the doors pulled apart or bent as if doors were broken into repeatedly. The bolt lock was broken, bugs all over the floor in each room (flies and crickets), TV not functional (stuck on setup) - we switched rooms due to this, and the AC took a while to cool. The pool was filled with wood and unusable. The beds were alright but...

”The room was clean, and there was plenty of hot water. That said, this little motel is really sad and in desperate need of some updating. The staff were friendly, but barely spoke English. The area is really quiet and peaceful. Except for Casey's, which does open till 7 am, there isn't much in the way of restaurants. Fortunately, Saline is only a twenty-minute drive.”

”The main lights were not on when I drove in so I was unsure if I was at the right place. This was the end of a 10+ hour drive. The person on duty had a hard time finding my reservation. When entering the room, it had an odor and the air was not on so it was hot. The actual room was no where close to the photos posted on there website. The furniture was miss matched where some of it was not suitable. The pillows did not have pillow case on them and one was stained. The sheet on he bed has...
