”We chose this hotel for the outdoor pool. Not sure if the dates were considered off season for an outdoor pool but it was not even close to being ready. Looked like it was filled with sludge. The website boasts a basketball court and a volleyball court. The vb court had no net and the bb court had 1 useable net and 1 without a rim at all. The place is old but clean. I didn’t think the breakfast was bad… just very limited options. Nice people at the desk. The beds are very firm. ”

”This cabin is great. From check in to check out everything was as stated and cabin was great. I would definitely stay here a again. Only a few miles from main entrance to New River Gorge, and Thurmond. Easy drive to all other parts of the National Park. We even got in a few State Parks and 1 Battlefield. And dog friendly was the icing on the cake.”

”Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!”
