”The B&B Tim and Ken run is one of the best accommodation experiences I've had in Southern England. Stylishly and sensibly renovated rooms with Scandinavian decor, ensuite amenities included, in an intimate environment – meaning that you won't see people coming and going all the time. This is to say that the atmosphere is relaxed. The breakfast is superb with plenty of choices (I'd go for the homemade bagels). Your hosts will also go that extra mile for you. ”The property was easy to find and we were welcomed on our arrival. We were given an upgrade to a family room, which was much appreciated! The room was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend the Telstar!”

”Only two staff trying to run hotel. Had to wait for a table then service, even though the restaurant only had a couple of people in it. As the girl couldn’t run everything, not her fault. Food was terrible and dry with brown coleslaw. The hotel didn’t seem that busy considering it was Easter weekend. Had the same problem I at the other Premiere Inn hotel in Exeter last year.”

”Only stayed one night, to break up our journey. Easy booking via Expedia, easy to find with ample parking. Lovely friendly welcome at reception by Lil. We had a nice, spacious, spotlessly clean room with A Patio ! We couldn't resist the Sunday carvery which was very nice, as was the breakfast the next morning. So with a lovely location, nice friendly staff giving great service, what is not to like. Thanks to all of your hardworking staff & looking forward to visiting again soon. M&S”

”Its an old thatched pub and the room shape and conditions reflect that - sloping floors and wonky walls but the bedding , towels etc were clean and fresh. Rooms are above the bar so not quiet until the pub closes. Pub downstairs is friendly and has a good atmosphere with plenty of choice behind the bar. They serve food but I didn't try any so can't comment on that. Reasonably large attached car park although theres no covered area or anything to chain a motorcycle to.”

”The location was great, though it was a bit hard to find as the entrance seemed to be at the back of the building. Our room was luxurious—everything we hoped for and more! The rooftop bar offered nice views and we enjoyed the continental breakfast at the restaurant for an additional charge. We’d definitely stay again.”

”Hotellin yleistilat nuhjuiset ja epäsiistit, huone puolestaan kaiketi vastikään uusittu ja sisustus oli siisti, joskin ei sopinut hotellin tunnelmaan ollenkaan. Ikkunoista veti paljon ja liikenteen melu oli todella iso ongelma. Yöllä ei saanut nukuttua edes korvatulppien kanssa. Aamiainen oli myöhässä ja hieman sekava, emme tienneet mikä osa aamiaisesta kuului huoneen hintaan ja mikä ei.”
