”Viking village is one of the most unique experiences we have had with being the most authentic and amazing Norse village in the United States. Attention to comfort and period detail along with an outdoor fire pit with Soay goats was unmatched. We didn’t want to leave. Paul and Christine were fabulous hosts and we will be back to the Viking village!”

”Quiet and clean place to stay the night”

”Very well run hotel, conveniently located in the heart of Brattleboro. Free parking in a lot next to the hotel was a nice touch. My only gripe would be that my room (104) had no view as the windows were made of some kind of stained glass that you can't see through and couldn't open. Also they could not be closed all the way and allowed a cold draft to come through on a chilly night. I had to stuff towels in the open gaps to keep the chill out. A little strange I thought, but was manageable.”

Our hosts were very kind, and put generous effort into providing delicious breakfasts, giving suggestions about local attractions, and allowing us as much or as little cat time as we wanted. The room we were in was very cozy, with a comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches such as a water kettle for tea or coffee, a small fridge, and a TV setup we didn’t take advantage of. ”Such a great place to stay at... The staff always go above and beyond to accommodate all guests. Absolutely our favorite place to stay when we are in the area... The selection of food for breakfast is so nice and the pool is indoors which is a bonus.. The fire pit is enjoyable in the evenings. Can not say enough great things so check it out for yourself - You won't be disappointed”
