”Located off a steep, treacherous hill, the room was dark, old and dingy. The host did not greet us on arrival. We had to figure out where the door to the unit was. We were left to figure out parking (which was crowded and really too small for the number of cars there) on our own. There were no signs or welcome notes. The sheets were worn and the blankets old and musty. Same with towels. The bed was so worn out it had a well in its center. The floor was clean but every other hard surface felt...

”This was one of the best experiences with a vacation rental we had in many years. The location is amazing: 5 min from one of the best redwood state parks, and very close from two other parks and the ocean. The surrounding small towns are little gems literally hidden under the canopy of redwoods. The house was very comfortable, had a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and well-designed interior. It was so quiet, peaceful, and the air was amazing. The communication with the host was...

”This was the perfect little stay for me and my pooch. Quiet & clean, nice kitchenette area. The only thing missing is a bathroom sink with mirror. There’s nowhere in the bathroom to wash your face, brush your teeth, put on makeup and get ready for your day. There is a full length mirror, which is great. Cute little sitting outdoor area for morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. One great thing, it’s in a gated area with a very small yard so my dog could be safely contained outside, and it’s...
