I used the next room’s WiFi as the password was easy to guess. They did not repair my WiFi despite me reporting it. There is a separate WiFi on hotel premises (not in the room) and it worked fine. ”This is an interesting and well appointed little boutique hotel at the quiet end of the Colonial District, comfortably furnished and with very pleasant staff. The garden is especially delightful. While the square opposite is quite busy and even noisy during the daytime, it is relatively quiet at night. From the point of view of security, we never felt uncomfortable walking in our neighborhood.”

”Rooms were clean and everything worked but needs some renovating especially toilets and showers but nevertheless we were pleased to stay. Pool was great but bar at pool was really expensive and food was poor. Also elevators did broke all the time. Free wifi worked fine. Still would stay again.”

The sad thing (as so often in DR) is that the Dominicans tend to think that this island is cut off from the rest of the world so that they can do as they please... So beware at the counter for any additional charges (we had to go the hard way: a phone call to Hotels.com and a "meeting" with the manager) Ps. There is hope though, the young man...

”Hotel was located nicely in the middle of the Zona colonial, the old town and only tourist friendly zone. Rooms were renowed and clean as was the whole hotel. But rooms were too small to open two suitcases. On arrival we had to wait for 30 minutes for our room in a crowded lobby. No pool but ask the staff for possibilities to use the chains other hotels pools. Pros: -New and clean rooms -Helpfull staff -Location Cons: -Waiting time at checkin -Small rooms -Breakfast selection was...
