”Kind of plain but had the necessary things including refrigerator and microwave. Not fancy but clean. No decaf coffee for pot in room and no breakfast, but the staff was nice.”

”I really enjoyed staying at the property. The staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the lounge area where there were several games to play, snacks, drinks, music streaming. They have a lovely fire pit and outdoor seating areas. An outdoor movie/sauna area, pool, hammocks, pickleball court and ping pong table. The property is surrounded by forest with trails. I will definitely stay at the property again if I find myself in the area. The only con was the driveway/road between the street,...

”Our room was secluded & quiet. Location was great & easy to manage. People were friendly & accommodating. Thumbs up! 👍”

”Check in was odd. No one was available so had to call and got texted the room # and door code. Small issue with curtains off track, but got corrected quickly. The room was clean and nicely renovated. Outside doesn't give the same nice vibe. Quiet at night. The bed is the foam kind, so feels like sink into hole. Not to my liking, but others may like that style of bed. Overall satisfied with the stay.”

”The staff was welcoming and helpful, the room great and the breakfast was delicious.”

”Very nice stay in an old Victorian house. The neighborhood and the town are unique and quirky! We stayed in the Captain Bridgeford room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was small but functional with a claw foot tub that has a shower.”

”Room was exactly as depicted. Clean, smelled fresh, bed was very comfortable! Despite being on a major roadway and it was a busy holiday weekend, the other tenants were quiet, road noise was minimal. The parking lot is a bit cramped but it’s a smaller lodge so to be expected. The staff were so considerate and helpful. Their recommendation for the Thai place around the corner was spot on. Delicious! Would definitely recommend The Lodge as a reasonably priced comfortable place to spend the...

”This was a return visit, and, we absolutely love this hotel. The staff is courteous, friendly and attentive. They work hard to keep the property in excellent condition. The gardens are beautiful, the pool and fountain are great. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We can't say enough good things about this place. We are looking forward to returning next fall for our annual visit to see the beautiful fall foliage. What a fantastic property!”

”parking was plentiful but we were not certain how exactly to position our vehicle because there are no markings nor instructions that we found. not a big deal but we noticed it.”

”The room was very clean, the breakfast was great. The room was very small with no comfortable chairs.”

”Just wonderful!!! It is an older "motel" style with doors facing outside rather than inside to a hallway, but we felt very safe. Very well maintained, comfortable spacious rooms, nice showers, loved view from the balcony, and the hot tub is the cleanest I've ever encountered at a hotel! Would definitely stay again!”

”Very nice and helpful staff and really affordable!”
