Tucked into the mountains of Lost River, West Virginia, Moon View A-Frame welcomes you with sweeping Appalachian ridgeline views and peaceful forest surroundings. Surrounded by natural beauty and located near George Washington National Forest, the setting offers easy access to outdoor adventures while maintaining total privacy. As you wind up the mountain road, the trees open to reveal expansive scenery, quiet seclusion, and some of the clearest night skies in Hardy County.

Mornings begin with sunlight pouring through expansive windows, coffee in hand, and nothing but mountains stretching into the distance. Evenings slow down by the fire—inside or out—where the stillness feels intentional and deeply restorative.

This classic A-frame cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and is ideal for couples, families, or small groups seeking a peaceful mountain getaway. - Gravel driveway on a hill — AWD or 4x4 recommended; required during winter snow
- You may encounter local wildlife including deer, black bears, and snakes — please admire from a distance and secure all food/trash
- Expect friendly country critters like ladybugs or stick bugs during certain seasons

Guests have full access to the entire cabin, deck, and private yard. Entry is provided via a digital lock box, allowing for easy self check-in upon arrival.

There is one owner’s closet that will remain locked during your stay. Please do not attempt to access this space.

To be considerate of neighbors and ensure guest safety, we use a Minut smart noise & smoke monitor. It measures decibel levels only (not conversations) to enforce our no-party policy and alerts us if smoke is detected. No audio or video is recorded.

Moon View A-Frame is located along a well-maintained gravel mountain road with a moderately steep hill. Most guests arrive without issue; however, during heavy rain, snow, or icy conditions, an all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly recommended. A capable vehicle will help ensure a smooth and stress-free arrival in all seasons.
