Riverview Lodge - Riverfront Home with Hot Tub

Riverfront Vacation Home with hot tub with 4 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms located on 1 acre on the Wally Road Scenic Byway. Home features sweeping views of the Mohican River from the raised deck. Views of river can also be seen from the Kitchen and Living Room windows, the two downstairs bedrooms, from the patio and basically any where in the back yard. We are located just 6 miles down river from Mohican Adventures and 7 miles from the main entrance to Mohican State Park.

Hot tub was a little foamy when jets on high reported it to host. Early in the season so it could have been cleaner. But very nice hot tub and enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved Riverview Lodge! It is a beautiful place that you guys have made like a home away from home!! We were all very impressed with the kitchen, it was wonderful! Everyone slept like a baby as the beds were quite comfortable. You thought of everything when you furnished the Lodge! It was very clean and neat! We sat on the swing down by the river, took in the patio's and loved the dining table! We took lots of pictures to show our friends. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs. We are definately looking forward to going back !.

First off, the communication from Drew before our arrival was fantastic, Drew was quick to respond to my questions very quickly and thoroughly. The cabin was very clean and ready for our arrival, what a beautiful relaxing setting for the cabin, everyone had a great time, the ping pong table was a huge hit, all the appliances were newer and worked great. we will definitely be back. Thanks Darren and FAMILY.

It was a very nostalgic trip for our family, returning to this home that our grandparents used to own. We went over the holidays to celebrate Christmas like we had done many years ago. The remodel is beautiful! Fun for all ages!

I think rental is over priced. The railings on the upstairs deck was very old and unstable. Parts of the floor felt weak on deck as well. The driveway is difficult and dangerous to pull out of because you cannot see on coming traffic. The cabin itself was nice. Very roomy, well stocked kitchen.

Smooth check in, accurate listing, responsive host. Location is beautiful and serene. We loved coffees in the morning overlooking the river and bonfires in the evening. We did the River Run 7.5 mile kayak trip, which drops off 1 property down and is so convenient to not have to wait for the bus. (It took us 3 hrs barely paddling if you are curious). Also just 10 minutes to Landoll's Castle and nearby several nice hiking trails in Mohican. Only complaints would be the strong sulfur odor of the water, which some folks struggled with for showering. Also Internet access was a bit spotty as noted. Other than that this is a great spot for basecamp while exploring the area. Would recommend.
