”An Excellent Bed and Breakfast. The owners were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. A few kilometers from Birr in the countryside, which is a walkable distance I guess, or by taxi which was about 5 euros from town. My Thanks to the Owners/Staff of the Ring Farmhouse!”

”Great, central location in Ireland. Could drive to Galway, Clanmacnoise, Rock of Cashel, Burren, Dublin area easily and be back. All within two hours, some even 20 minutes. Parking great and walked to pubs, music, groceries, etc. 8 family including kids. Kids loved the loft area and family loved main dining/living area. Beds basic and comfortable, price was great for family budget! Thanks Sean!”

”Just Beautiful!! Inside and out! I loved staying there. Watching the cows being moved from one pasture to another. I hosted a Birthday. lunch for a few of my cousins . So much room. It was fabulous. ”The Dairy cottage was a perfect location for us, a 1.5 hr drive to all the destinations we wanted to see while there in Ireland! The hosts were very kind and willing to go the extra mile. We suggest going into town to the local pub for a pint…. Owner very nice and welcoming!”

”Super, friendly host Joe met us and gave us an insight into the local area and lots of information. There was just the two of us but the property could easily accommodate seven people. ”From the minute we stepped foot into this property, we felt at home. We were met with sparkling clean accommodations, breathtaking views, a bowl of fruit on the table, and coffee and teabags in the counter! The rooms were all comfortable and attractive, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, tea pots, coffee press, sugar, spices, etc. We had a wonderful holiday at Shannon View, and recommend it highly! ”

”Okay but some things should be improved. Lights in the driveway. Hazard at night. Irritating things such as no sieve, no tea strainer, no lights under worktops in the kitchen, poor finishing to several sections of the dwelling- has an ‘unfinished or slightly slapdash’ feel about it. Light to the dining area very poor. No replacement disposal bags. Carpets rather dirty. And so on. With a small bit of care and attention it could so easily be better.”

”My wife and I came to vacation in Ireland with our 6 children. This was a lovely home that fit us perfectly. We stayed a week and traveled each day to another location to see the SW of the country. Caroline the property manager was very nice and very responsive. The only constructive feedback I would give is that it would be nice to have screens on the bedroom windows. This may not be applicable for the majority of the year, but it was very warm when we stayed, and with no A/C, we wanted to open...
