âWonderful hotel. From booking in the receptionist had a warm and welcoming smile. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and polite. The food was amazing. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and bar food the second which was good also. Will definitely be back. â

âWinterstoke is a HUGE house with 4 massive double bedrooms and a large twin room.
This does not feel like a holiday rental, it feels like a home.
I have never stayed in a property that is so well appointed, every detail is covered.
The quality of the house is really fantastic and incredibly comfortable.
The back garden is lovely with a great area for entertaining, unfortunately it was freezing so we could not make use of it.
We had a baby with us and the owner (sheila) had EVERYTHING...
âFantastic location. Really nicely decorated and has everything you needed. Comfortable bed, lush shower. Host was great, really accommodating, had thought of everything. So easy to get to bars,restaurants, shopping, train station etc, would highly recommend to anyone. We booked the smallest room,and it was perfectly fine as a place to sleep and shower. Excellent stay.â

âExcellent hotel. Everything is well laid out and perfectly furnished from the elegant bathrooms to the welcoming rooms. Even the stairs are perfect with their quality wooden flooring. The whole building has a good feel to it.

The voucher for a cocktail in the basement bar was a delightful surprise. The basement bar with its Saturday DJ may be catering for the younger generation, but it was great fun, even for us with only few grey hairs...
âThe owner was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided us with a cooked breakfast as well as a selection of cereals.
Shenandoah House about 5 minutes walk from the beach and is close to local shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also within walking distance to the Turner Gallery and Dreamland.
