”This is a very nice place to stay in Ouray. The property has a rustic theme to it, very nice. Each room comes with two king sized beds which are so comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. The Uncompahgre River runs right behind the property and there is a beautiful green belt to walk, run, ride a bike along. I highly recommend staying here.”

”There were no amenities. The rooms needs updated, and that is an understatement. Broken toilet paper holder in the bathroom, leaking shower head, an old desk chair as balcony furniture. The worst part, if you reserve a standard 2 queen room, the online photo shows a great view of the valley. They use a "deluxe" room picture view in the standard room online listing- our view was a parking lot and the glaring lights of the building below ours. No star gazing from that balcony. ”It is situated in an adorable little town. The room was nice and the bathroom awesome. There was no tv in the room, which was a little different. We could not figure out how to work the thermostat. Two "issues" that we had: 1. The second night the bar was very loud and we were the first room from the bar. There were also doors slamming everywhere. 2. It was advertised as getting a bottle of wine for each night stayed there. This we had to ask for and then they needed to verify.”

”We have now stayed here twice! We love the location, the staff, and the rooms. However this time I was disappointed that the room smelled of stale cigarettes! We kept the windows open and that helped! New cart would be amazing to help with this!”

”Cool, quirky, unique and fun! Our experience with the Retro Inn was super! We loved the room themes and was lucky to stay in the Elvis room. Rooms were very clean and had newer good quality mattresses and linens. Friendly and helpful staff with good dining out recommendations. Close to downtown and short drive to Mesa Verde park entrance.”
