”From check in through to check out the staff were very good. Breakfast was excellent and our room was comfy, quiet and had all the amenities that you would expect. The hotel was perfect for our stay and provided ample free parking which gave us a good base for our few days in Bath. It is halfway up a hill which was not a problem for us but for others not keen on walking up hill then be prepared to get a taxi or bus back from the town centre. ”

Short walk to other sights (The Salisbury Museum, Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Stonehenge Tour Bus). Loved the nature and the medieval city all around. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely visit again.”

”Immaculate accommodation, on quiet side street,10-15 mins walk from main shopping streets. Similar walking distance to friendly Methodist church. Excellent cooked to order breakfast. Hosts helpful in advising where to eat dinner.”

”The Hotel was in a good location and near to a couple of pubs. I left a little too early for breakfast. Only one thing but it is only small could have done with more milk in the room only 3 small cartons other than that I will be staying with them again”

”Warm welcome by the host, explained everything you need to know. The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and tidy, even had a fan which was welcome as the nights where in the 20s. Breakfast was gorgeous, cereals,full english or if you asked for anything similar they'd do it, the coffee was lovely, they also catered for the continental visitors. Spacious car park and a nice ten minute walk to the seaside. Overall i would recommend The George and would certainly visit again. ”
