”The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. ”

”Really nice place to stay, spotless, bathroom with a bath, very well kept. Parking opposite the hotel in a public car park which is free from 6pm until 9 am. I really liked it there, I would recommend it and I will be back again. Lastly, price was unbeatable.”

”We loved the quaint nature of this lodge, nestled in the golf course. You do have to be prepared to drive up a small hill and parking can be quite tight but it’s well worth it for such a spotless and modern room which provided a really comfortable stay. ”The property is excellent for people who are seeking some quite and would like to stay in short driving distance from Weymouth/Dorchester and want to enjoy what the area has to offer. The garden surrounding the property is gorgeous and a friendly doggo might welcome you if you are lucky enough.
