”Very nice place. Room and house has character. Restaurants and shopping all within 5-10 minutes. Host was helpful and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again. ”

The only drawback is the noise - the building has lots of banging/creaking going on. During the day it is not too noticeable but can be quite loud at night.”

”This worked well for me. The studio is attached to the owner's residence. You can arrange use of the laundry in the owner's portion of the property. You can use the owner's kitchen, since the studio has a microwave, but not a full stove/oven. Imelda is very friendly and outgoing, so just knock on the door and ask about laundry or kitchen access. ”This is my second time staying at Casita Shay, but my fourth time staying at one of their properties. As a health IT and writer, privacy and safety are my main concerns, and you get both with the "Shay" properties. This location is very convenient for shopping and outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this location for single travelers and couples.”

”Location is fantastic. Elderly or disabled would be different due to stairs and entry doorways. It is like having a personal apartment to come back to. Plenty of room to relax and so close to shops and dining/coffee. Would stay again!”

”We had a a wonderful time staying at Lake Roberts over Christmas! The wilderness setting and surrounding landscapes were amazing. Our room was cozy, comfortable and artfully decorated. ”The check in process was easy. Barbara provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to questions. She was flexible in our check-in time. Although the property could use a few upgrades, it was very clean and equipped with most of what we needed for our stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet.”
