”The room was not at all as pictured on your website. There was no table or chairs at all. The doors were full glass and covering for them was a dirty sheet of fabric. No trash cans. Toilet only worked sporadically. Floor sandy. I understand a basic room but this was not at all what the Experian website portrayed.”

”Captains Cottage is a beautiful B&B with a warm, welcoming staff. The rooms are comfortable with their own spacious bathrooms. The decor throughout the home is pleasing to the eye and gives a beach house vibe. The breakfast was delicious and there were many amenities available for the guests. Personalized welcome notes and delicious chocolate biscuits greeted us as we stepped into our room. It was quiet and gave us the desired privacy and/or the warm, friendly conversations and recommendations...

”The place was nice. Stayed there twice now. Three minor issues; The mini fridge made noise all night until I unplugged it. The room was cleaned st 3:00pm exactly when I returned and wanted to shower. The phone blinked red all day/night the front desk offered to send up a person and I declined. Not sure why they could clear the msg from down stairs”

”Window darkening drapes from the 1970’s, rod hooks were broken so the drapes didn’t close all the way. Box air conditioner light “replace filter” was on…wondering for how long? Threadbare towels, “body cleansing bar” the size of a half dollar. Bedspreads from the Brady boys’ bedrooms, yikes. The tackiness and run down appearance of this hotel has gone from slightly endearing to likely my last time staying there. They pride themselves on the pool (overcrowded and loud), happy hour and the...

”The staff was helpful, the motel is in a great location. This is nothing fancy about this place, No coffee.... no cups or glasses, no beach tags. It was as clean most shore motels I've stayed at anywhere and the room was large and worked well for us. If you want to be pampered or have room service and other amenities this is NOT your place. But if you are looking for a less expensive no frills place to stay while you enjoy the beach and boardwalk, I highly reccomend Buoy 16”
