The staff and the locals are friendly and welcoming and the food is great.
Dont get upset that there's no lift to the upper level or at the absence of Aircon.

”Lin is lovely and I honestly don't know how she does it. it's an old house like most in Ilfracombe so don't expect a lift and the car park is quite steep. I stayed here for a few days either side of a trip to Lundy and it was perfect for me. Lin would have let me leave my car in the car park had she not been full but it was perfectly safe on the road outside as there are no restrictions and it was only a 15 minute walk to the pier. Breakfast is great if a little late for me - I'm an early riser...
