”The room was incredibly spacious and well equipped. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bar and food choice was good. Breakfast consisted of a reasonable choice of continental options. Cooked breakfast was available for an additional charge and was nice but limited.”

”Traumhafter Aufenthalt in einem Castle. Das Zimmer war der Wahnsinnn und hatte alles was das Herz begehrt. Im Schlafzimmer hat man zwar die Musik aus der Bar unten etwas gehört, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Die Umgebung und der Ausblick aus dem Restaurant sind wirklich wunderschön. Beim Essen im Restaurant würde ich definitiv aber nicht fish & ships empfehlen. Das war leider ein wirklicher Reinfall. An der Unterkunft an sich ändert es aber nichts. Es war und bleibt eine unvergessliche...

”We stayed in a room that had a shower over the bath, quite a step to get out, we feel a bath mat should be provided. The towels are lovely and big, the bed was very comfortable but the pillows need replacing. Nice place to stay as it’s an easy walk into town. Yes we would stay here again.”

”Idyllic setting in a peaceful Cotswold village with beautiful gardens and views but still close to other towns and villages. Very nicely furnished bedroom and a fantastic large bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Only slight negative to our room (Pheasant Nest) was some noise from bedroom above (creaky floor and running water). Thoroughly recommended”
