Mainio hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla
Erinomainen sijainti. Ilmaiset pyörät mainio lisä. Hotelli on hyvä valinta Luccan vanhaan kaupunkiin tutustumista varten.

Poor service. Not keeping fulfilling promises.
In some rooms, like ours - and the other ones in the same corridor - the WiFi didn't work, and the reception just gave laim excuses. The same goes for a lot of other things as well. Nice hotel with poor service, that is.

Unfurtunately nobody, your room nor others, came to the reception complaining about our wifi, that, as you can see from other reviews, is always reliable. The best of the best
This was the best hotel you can stay in Lucca! We had bog room with bathtub, free aperitivo&prosecco, big breakfast buffet on a terrace, everything was perfect! Hotel stuff spoke good english and they were happy to help if you had any problems or wanted know something about the city.

Hyvällä sijainnilla oleva hotelli. Henkilökunta avuliasta ja lähes koko päivän käytössä oleva "kahvila" oli kiva lisä niin kiertelyn päätteeksi kuin taaperon päiväunien aikana. Kiva hotelli ja avulias henkilökunta, joka ehdotti ratkaisuja, ennen kuin ehti niitä kysyä. Tulisin myös uudelleen.

The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Lovely and helpful staff. The only thing I missed was a shelf in the bathroom to place toiletries etc. They have a very civilised system for residents to have easy access to free tea, coffee, cold drinks and pastries etc during their stay, located just by Reception. A really nice place to stay, only a short walk from all of Lucca's amenities. Very close to the Elisa portal within the old walls.

Our one night stay was great. We were starting our bike tour in the morning and just wanted a place to crash. It turned out to be so much more ..... tree topped towers, Colosseum like piazzas and a laundromat. Check, check, check!

Loved the location, right next to one of the old gates into the Old Town, and the afternoon free buffet is great, as is the breakfast solarium. Our bed was very comfortable and I I would recommend this hotel to future guests.

We loved our stay in Lucca at Hotel Ilaria! We stayed in a family suite across the street and it was very comfortable. Two bathrooms was nice to have. We did have a family with young children on one side of us and you could hear everything - we were glad when they checked out. We took advantage of the bicycles and rode around the wall and the breakfast each morning was nice. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. The property is so unique and we loved our loft room that had plenty of space for our family of 5. Highly recommend taking the bikes they have available to ride around the city. One of our trip highlights!

This place is a little gem in the Historic centre of Luca Great dinning and perfect location for walk the old town. This hotel is quiet at night. The staff is outstanding, very helpful with everything! Lots of perks while staying here.

The staff is the best part of the hotel. Every one is pleased to make suggestions and seems genuinely proud to be working there. Most are longtime employees. Moreover, the included breakfast is excellent and likewise served with care and pride. I will always return to Hotel Ilaria.

property was nice but room was a little dirty/dusty, door lock was impossible for us to open as it was a weird key jingle technique we just couldn’t figure out. Shower was not comfortable, and hot tub was closed without giving guests a heads up. Pictures of the hot tub was what prompted me to book this hotel so that was a disappointment. They have amenities like a happy hour which was really nice to offer and car charging. Front desk staff was nice and helpful.

A delightful stay
The hotel is excellent, and the staff was friendly and hospitable. I arrived late at night, and as Ilaria doesn't have a restaurant, they arranged for food from another establishment. I was impressed by the level of hospitality. The room was also tidy and well-maintained.

Great one night stay in Lucca. Front desk service was top notch. Good breakfast, easy parking (about 20 euros), good location. No complaints. Would stay again!

In honesty, we shortened our trip even though we didn’t get a refund for our second night. Our Superior room was on the ground floor, loud, not worth more than the standard room cost. The location was nice and the secure parking was a plus but you had to pay for that which we knew. The pillows were flat as pancakes, the room was too warm but given being on the first floor didn’t open windows, and the staff while professional seemed insensitive or not empathetic. We would likely not stay here again.
