Kylpylähotellit - Lugano, Ticinon kantoni

”Luxurious breakfast, clean beautiful room. We were upgraded into a better room with 2 bedrooms. Awesome. ”

”Very beautiful and cozy hotel! Our room had a great view to the garden and Lugano lake. Spacious room, which was very clean and pleasant, it had a nice balcony. There was an excellent pianist playing in the lounge whole evening on Saturday night. Hotel is situated by only 20 minutes walk from the city center and there was a free bus connection frequently going to city center. We recommend the hotel and would like to visited soon again. ”

”Our stay was exceptional with a nice balcony and view. The breakfast and dinner was excellent and they even provided a complimentary smart vehicle to take into the city. Nice touch.”

”Ihana perinteikäs hotelli luonnon keskellä. Siisti, valoisa ja iso huone. Kiva uima-allasalue ja hyvä aamiainen. Ainoa miinus junien aiheuttamasta kolinasta, muutoin erittäin rauhallinen ympäristö.”

”We had a very pleasant stay at hotel Federale. Hotel was clean and the location was perferct! Also nice breakfast and friendly staff! Although the church nearby was a bit loud cause they were ringin bells quite often.. but it was only during the eastertime.”

”The breakfast was excellent, however there was neither fridge nor kettle in the room. The room was spacious and comfortable.”

”Very nice hotel and personnel. Location and views to the lake were very good, room was spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant was very good, too. Personnel were helpful and attentive with a positive attitude.”

”Lovely hotel with nice ability to swim in the lake Lugano. Staff is stressed and not that interested in service. Breakfast is really bad, the smell already is repulsive. No vegetables, fresh cut fruit, box omelette, bread ok, good coffee, not the same standard as the hotel. Good hotel in this neighbourhood.”

”Betjäningen var väldigt bra. Vi fick ett stort rum på fjärde våningen med utsikt mot Lake Lugano. Frukosten var bra och betjäningen likaså. Nära till Mont San Salvatore.”

”The room was clean and very spacious. The furniture was outdated. There was no cups, plates or any cutlery even though there was a small kitchen. The AC was effective but noisy. The pool area and breakfast were excellent. We really enjoyed the spa and spinning class too.”

”Stayed for two nights, and we were kindly offered public transportation passes for two days. Parking was free on the street on Saturday after 18 and Sunday all day. The air conditioning is rather noisy and there is no fridge in the room, but other than that we enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet and neat rooms, small pool outside, short walking distance to train/funicular. Excellent service. Didn’t have breakfast but bought coffee separately, 3,50 CHF per cup.”

”Varmaa Novotel-laatua. Todella hyvä, siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli mukavuuksilla ja erinomaisella palvelulla. Mukava iso huone, jossa lapsillakin hyvät sängyt. Kaikki toimi.”

”Make sure to go right next to the apartment to check in! There's a big sign that says San Carlo Hotel - you check in there for the apartment. Clean, big, has AC, very close to everything. Very good for the price.”

”We were sent a code for the property via a WhatsApp chat and check in was very easy. It was a short walk from the train station and we could walk to the lake, funicular and olive grove walk so the location was excellent. The apartment was very compact so I would check the floor space before booking. There were no dishwasher tablets or coffee grounds for the machine but these can be bought downstairs. For a short stay it would be good to have at least one dishwasher tablet as most shops are...
