Inn at SilverCreekGranby

”Our room felt a little like we were staying in a Final Destination movie. The ceiling fan was hanging on by just two wires and looked like it could have come flying off the ceiling had we turned it on. There were also sharp, exposed wall anchors less than two feet above the head of the bed, and the deck railing was extremely loose and wobbly.
Needless to say, the room could use some serious maintenance and safety updates. These weren’t just cosmetic issues, but genuine safety concerns.

”Instead of booking a typical hotel, I stumbled on the Ore House Inn in my search. It was the most affordable & sounded great. Although there is no onsite office that I knew of, the phone communication with the owners was responsive. Each room has its own theme. We got the Game of Thrones room & it was really cool how much work was put into it. We only stayed 1 night and wish we could have spent more time there. The only minor nuisance that has been mentioned was the bathroom being separate, but...

”We visited this condo in July. While the condo itself was nice, clean, close to the resort, and the host was consistently responsive, the overall stay was not to our liking. Unfortunately, the unit did not have an air conditioner. When we checked in, the temperature inside was 86 degrees and extremely hot. I wish I had researched this more thoroughly beforehand, but it also would have been helpful if the listing had clearly stated that there was no air conditioning. The host informed me of this...

Reviewer Comments:
We stayed for the week and loved the location! We are fans of being close to Main Street and walking around town, so this location was perfect. The place is good for 2-3 people, we don’t see how 6 could stay comfortably.”

”This one actually has two queen sized beds! It took me a lot of time combing through nearly identical listings for units in this building. They all use many of the same photos, all say they have two beds, but most of them actually have a pullout couch or a futon as the second bed when you go through all of their photos. This one REALLY has two real adult size beds! It was great. It had everything we needed for a friends trip.”
