”The Sylvan Inn was the perfect base for our exploration of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast provided by the friendly staff.
The Inn’s location is also very convenient for walking into Glen Arbor to enjoy the galleries and restaurants. We hope to return again!”

”Stayed a night at Charlesvoix House (Northside) on our way to a family funeral in Sault Ste Marie. This pretty town is walkable and worth a stopover. Writing this review to thank our host Terry. She reminded us of the treasures we had discovered at many bed and breakfasts in our travels in the 80s and 90s, before the days of airbnbs and sterile Wyndhams. She shared insights of the town including the story behind the 380 potted flower decorations on the town roads. She cooked muffins with fresh...
