”It is a true log cabin building with huge timbers. The staff was welcoming and cares for you well. Rooms are a generous size and bed are comfortable.”

”Been staying at this hotel for the past almost 10 years now and I’m never disappointed with my time there. The staff has always been so welcoming and helpful each time I’ve been here. The hotel is very old and historic, the town of Ymir has always given me a warm vibe. It’s secluded and it’s quiet. There is a nice stream that runs nearby and swimming areas all over. Definitely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at, hence why it’s been almost 10 years and I keep returning.”

”Our host, Elizabeth, was lovely. Our room and ensuite were immaculate and very comfortable. The ground level patio over looking the lake was perfect for an evening glass of wine or for breakfast. The breakfast was great with both hot and continental options. There is a full kitchen for guests to use which was great as we had brought a cooler of food. Ample parking spots. The B&B was wonderful! Thank you Elizabeth.”

”The room was really nicely appointed. Bathroom was clean and large. Breakfast was great. Only issue is the noise. The windows don’t seem to be soundproof/triple pane. The rooms all over look highway 33 which is a really loud road. If you have issues sleeping due to excessive noise this may not be the place for you”

”The owner bent over backwards to make our one night stay comfortable and relaxing. The Admirals room was small and a bit difficult to navigate the hallway to the private bath for the visually handicapped but was not a problem otherwise. Breakfast was excellent. If you have a choice I'd stay in the Captains quarters, a larger room.”
