Vanha kaivos Mökki on varustautunut melkoisesti mukavuuksia, jotka tekevät oleskelustasi erittäin nautittavaa! 5 henkilöä kylpytynnyri on aina hitti nuorten ja vanhempien vieraat keskuudessa, ja täysin rentouttava kokemus, ulkona tulipalon pit on loistava paikka rentoutua päivän nähtävyyksien, golfia, tai miten haluat viettää aikaa Luray! Keittiö on kauniisti suunniteltu ja tulee täydellinen jokainen laite tarvitaan, kuten astianpesukone. On pesukone ja kuivausrumpu päällä samoin niille, jotka haluavat käyttää niitä. Muutaman tunnin välein juna tulee läpi, ja omaisuus on juuri oikealla etäisyydellä raidat se olisi viehättävä. On aivan uusi TV olohuoneessa, jossa DirecTV paketti, ja DVD-soitin. Sisällä mökissä on hyvin maalaismainen tuntea sen. Kaikki on täysin uusi, mutta on huolella tuntuu erittäin mukava ja ainutlaatuinen. Kiinteistö istuu kätevällä paikalla päästä, vain 10 minuutin ajomatkan lähes kaikkea mitä tarvitsee tehdä.

A beautiful secluded house that has a magnificent view of mountains in the distance from the porch. The jacuzzi was sooo relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Perfect location to all sights. I would recommend to family and friends!

Property is awesome, everything was clean and comfortable. Lots of cooking pots, pans, baking sheets. Bring your own kitchen knife, spices and cutting board. We would definitely stay there again. It was wonderful to wake up and have coffee listening to the bird chorus from the front porch.

Mini 4th Getaway

We stayed at Secluded Cottage 3 nights over July 4th along with our golden doodle. This cottage is adorable. Someone worked very hard and meticulously on this cottage. Very quiet and relaxing. Watched Luray's fireworks from the hot tub. Shout out to Bear Mountain Zip Line...fun!! Not far from Caverns and Skyline Drive. Definitely would stay again.

This place never disappoints! It’s always clean and ready when we arrive. It has land for us and the dogs to roam, yet minutes from grocery stores and quaint downtown shops/dining. We love the hot tub and fire pit. This was probably the 4th time we’ve stayed here; never had a complaint!

Secluded weekend getaway

It was a great stay, lovely property with gorgeous views of the surrounding fields, amazing sunset views from the front porch, and not a neighbor in sight. The hot tub and fire ring were welcome features to end our days with. Proximity to main roads, Luray Caverns, and Shenandoah was a huge plus. Rating 5 stars because everything was exactly as advertised and the property was very clean with updated fixtures. We could have done with a more comfy couch and maybe a smart tv, but understand rural internet can be challenging. Thanks for the great stay!

Old fashioned and cozy.

Its very private with lots of lawn to do whatever, The fire pit was nice, The hot tub is Awesome with the view of the mountain, The interior is very clean and welcoming, The furniture isn't very comfortable but i kinda like that, It fit the old style feel, Id definitely stay again. My Dog enjoyed sniffing all the new sniffies on the property.

Very cute property and home. Our stay was comfortable and hosts were responsive. There are train tracks nearby, but we didn't get woken up in the night by passing trains. Bathroom was very clean and there were plenty of towels for bath/shower/hot tub.

Fall Trip

The location was great. Easy access to Shenandoah Park and to Luray. The cottage was very clean. Wonderful to sit on the front porch and watch sun set. The host was on top of anything that was need. Would definitely stay again.

Privacy

My partner and I truly enjoyed the accommodations offered however, we believe that the front door and side door leading to the patio need covering from curious on-lookers or for a feeling of more security. The same consideration should be extended to the window in the kitchen and bathroom. The clear visibility of the interior of the house from these areas should be an option of the occupants NOT an expected one of the owner. **Keith and I had to cover these areas in order to feel a level of privacy and security. Thank you.

Great home and location

We hiked and attended the fall festival in Luray The home was so inviting and we hot tubbed every night. Very comfortable and had all the comforts of home. I’d recommend this place for a small family too We never used the upstairs 😏

Rustic cottage in Luray

Overall the house was acceptable. It was clean and had the amenities as listed on the site. There was water leaking from the ceiling of the family room the entire stay. The water pressure in the bathroom made it difficult to even wash your hands at the sink or take a shower. The house worked for us, since we spent most of our time hiking, but the issues we had would prevent us from booking again or recommending this house to others.

Country Comfort

A beautifully renovated home with country charm in an amazing setting. The Blue Ridge Mountains in full view from the covered front porch, the sun setting over the mountains, the train rattling down the tracks and the fireflies over the fields made for the perfect stay in Luray. The beds are very comfortable, the bedrooms are tastefully decorated, the bathroom is renovated and the kitchen is well-furnished. Darling farm house! Look forward to staying here again.

Cottage Charm

Loved the location…privacy, spacious. Charmingly decorated with all needs met. Hosts is readily available and accommodating. Close to so many “treasures”… Luray Caverns for all you physical science thrill seekers, Skyline Drive for all you scenic hikers, plenty of charming shops, breweries/wineries, with the small town charm of Mayberry. Fabulous family setting. Highly recommend!
