Good hotel and location
Good location across the tram stations, 15 min walk to the main square. Very friendly staff and breakfast is reasonable. Good for short trips, when you don't need to stay at the hotel all the time. Will come back as the price vs quality is good.

Toimiva hotelli
Viikonlopun työmatkalla Luxissa. Hotellin sijainti hyvä ja parkkihalli lähellä. Kaikki toimi. Hyvä palvelu. Ainoa ongelma oli naapuritalon remontti, joka häiritsi kadunpuolen huoneiden rauhaa.

Nice hotel in a perfect location. Great service. Only minus is the hotel breakfast, which wasn't much and was not worth the cost. Luckyly there are shops and cafés nearby.

Siisti hotelli ilman maisemanakymia
Aamiainen ei kuulunut hintaan, joten sita ei tullut sitten testattua. Huoneessa oli pikakahvipaketit ja teet saatavilla vedenkeittimen lisaksi, mika oli ihan riittava pika-aamiaiseksi. Huoneen ikkunasta nakyi parin metrin paassa vastapaata oleva seina, joten mitaan ihastelemista nakymissa ei ollut.

We didn't like the smell of cigarette in the room (even if it was a non-smoking room). Otherwise it was ok.

Excellent stay
We were allowed in our room a bit earlier than the site promised, and the room was very beautiful, especially the bathroom. Staff was very helpful and proficient in English, which was a relief. The location seemed good enough for us, since we arrived by bus, right in the city center. The only negative side I can think of was the fact that you had to give the room up rather early, but that seems to be the problem in most hotels. All in all, this was by far one of the best hotels in its price range that I have tried.

Mukava ja palvelualtis henkilökunta. Hiukan äänet kuuluvat kaduilta mutta ei häiriöksi asti. Aamiainen oli runsas, joskin ehkä hiukan kallis. Huoneet siistit modernit ja avarat.

Modern hotel and lovely breakfast
Lovely service, and good location. The hotel shuttle/ taxi was very convenient. The only complaint was that hot weather in early spring was not taken into account. The air conditioning was not switched on, on the contrary the heating was still on so the room was very hot.

Good stay
Very good location just a short walk from the city center and a few meters from the tram stop. Clean, rooms on the small side, good breakfast. Only problem, the room was too warm.

Nice and easy
Large room and bathroom, bed and pillows were too hard for me. Room was warm, but no view if you were in the back. Great location and easy parking access.

Great accessibility by public transport and foot. Close to a nice park to get outside for some fresh air. In the annex, hallways can be noisy and echoing and there is no view and limited light from the room I had, but it was functional for what I needed. (And they made an effort to make it more appealing with a mural… fun touch!) Appreciated having a kettle and very small fridge. Gym is small and basic, but again, had what I really needed. Everything was clean and housekeeping was very good. For the price, I was satisfied!

Deeply Unpleasant
Booked as it seemed a reasonable price for a 4 star hotel, and while not in the centre, only a ten minute walk away. The reality is after checking in, I had to cross the busy road to the "annexe" building... I guess this was once a different hotel that Best Western have purchased. The room was very old fashioned - think 70's style wood furniture. I was not impressed to find a clump of the previous occupants hair on the floor (tiled, so easy to clean). The bed was tiny (single), the aircon unit gurgled all night, and the building was noisy with other people on the stairwell coming in after what was obviously a great night for them... so much so that I had to ask them to be quiet. Breakfast was very average, with the cleaner literally cleaning around people with some disgusting looking rag stinking of industrial disinfectant. Honestly it's hard to see where the 4 stars have come from - maybe 25 years ago they qualified. However, the standard is poor and felt more like a good effort in an economically deprived country than a 4 star in an economic centre of Europe. Cheap for a reason - best avoided.

We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met in your interaction with our Hotel. Your happiness is our number one priority. We have different rooms for different budget and we try our best to please everyone to have an oprrunity to stay in a 4 star hotel.As you can see you choosed a classic single room (bed one person) in the annex building, everything thing is written. Next time give a try to superior rooms or junior suite at off course a different rate. Best regards,

Luxembourg Great but expensive
It was an excellent stay at the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is clean and bedroom clean - cleaners do a great job. It’s only 10 minute walk to the main centre with the shops and restaurants- not far at all. My only complaint is the noise from the street. Without shutting your window you will get an early wake up call but the air con in the room is great. The area is also really nice with the university close by and beautiful gardens.

Staff is always very friendly and ready to assist in any way they can regarding any issues you may face, even if it has nothing to do with your stay at the hotel. Breakfast is awesome, lots of variety and is very well attended by the staff to be sure it is always full and clean the area several times per hour. Rooms are clean and typical of a European hotel room. There is a small bar downstairs and chairs/tables where you can hold a meeting with another person. The rooms facing the street are a bit noisier than the ones on the other side of the building. There is a gym downstairs and also a sauna but did not try either. The hotel is well located for a transfer between the train station and the airport. Lots of buses going around and the tram stops is less than fifty meters. Lots of dining options around the hotel.
