”The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm.”

”We were in room 3 which was huge, it comprised of a small sitting room, bathroom and large bedroom. Bed was very comfortable, room spotless, tv in both sitting room and bedroom. Small fridge in the sitting room with milk and chilled water which was very welcome as it was extremely hot. Breakfast was lovely, good portions, and all the staff were fantastic. ”Everything was great. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is very well organized and maintained. It is also an excellent choice for families with children, offering a comfortable and welcoming environment. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it to other travellers.”

”The property is very tired looking. The hot water took a long time to come through and the shower was slow. The bed was not made properly, the duvet was just pulled up and not even neatly. The edge of the duvet was resting on the bedside cabinet rather than being tucked down.”

”Breakfast was excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Between midnight and 3:00am there was a great deal of drunken singing in the street. One of the revellers tapped on my bedroom window. Perhaps this was a one time event(England vs Norway.). It wasn’t really a problem for me, but my wife, had she been there with me, would have felt threatened by this. The lack of night security should be remedied.”
